Swift Water Team arrives back in Greensboro

Greensboro Fire Department Swift Water Team Returns to Greensboro
GREENSBORO, NC (September 6, 2017) -The 18 members of the Greensboro Fire Department Swift Water Rescue Team will be arriving in Greensboro today, Wednesday, September 6. The team is traveling from Meridian, MS, where they stayed overnight, to Greensboro Fire Station 5, 1401 Westover Terrace. The team is expected to arrive between 10 pm and 11 pm.

All media outlets are invited to attend the Greensboro Swift Water Teams arrival to Station 5. Media will be given access to speak with Assistant Chief Craig Smith who served as the team leader during the deployment. We ask that all interviews be simultaneous, if possible, and directed to Chief Smith due to the firefighters unloading equipment and wanting to reunite with their families as soon as possible.
