Police release surveillance photos of armed bank robber


Greensboro police are searching for a man who robbed a bank late Thursday morning.

Employees at the SunTrust Bank, 3521 N. Elm Street, told officers that a black man with his face covered by a white bandana came into the bank at about 11:35 a.m., displaying a handgun and demanded money.


After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash from a teller, the man fled from the business.

No one was injured in the incident.

The robber is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, dark blue jeans and black boots.
