Wells Fargo Bank Robbed at Gunpoint

GREENSBORO, NC (Feb. 9, 2018) – Greensboro police are currently investigating the robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank located at 4801 W. Market St.
First responders were notified of the robbery at 10:06 am when the business’ security company contacted GM911.
Once on scene, police learned that a black male entered the facility, displayed a handgun, and demanded and received money from several tellers. He then fled on foot and was seen getting into a dark colored SUV driving south on Norwalk St. He was wearing a dark jacket, dark pants, and a bandana for a mask.
No one was injured in the incident.
Anyone who can identify the man in the attached photos is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000 or text keyword badboyz and the tip to 274637. All calls to crime stoppers are completely anonymous. Greensboro/Guilford Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the individual responsible.
