Uplift Girls Program Begins August 7

GREENSBORO, NC (July 13, 2017) – City Arts has partnered with Joyemovement Dance to offer Uplift Girls, an empowerment group for girls ages 9-18. Beginning August 7, the group will meet Mondays from 6:30-7:45 pm at the Caldcleugh Multicultural Center, 1700 Orchard St. There is a one-time $25 fee to register for the group. Scholarships are available.

At Uplift Girls, young woman learn new skills in a creative and interactive environment. The group will explore topics like self-care, entrepreneurship, and global citizenship, and engage in fun activities like field trips, yoga, dance, writing, and theater.
