Police Take Individual Into Custody at Smith High School

GREENSBORO, NC (Dec. 3, 2018) – At approximately 12:40 pm the School Resource Officer confronted an individual at Smith High School. The subject when confronted turned and ran, the officer noticed he was armed and gave chase. The individual was apprehended a short time later by the School Resource Officer and assisting officers. Smith High School is not currently on lock down and there is no threats to students at this time.

The investigation is ongoing is ongoing at this time. Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000 or text the tip to 274637 using the keyword badboyz. All calls to Crime Stoppers are completely anonymous, and may result in a reward up to $2,000.
