Police Investigating Robbery of SunTrust Bank

GREENSBORO, NC (July 13, 2017) -Greensboro police are currently investigating a robbery of SunTrust Bank at 3521 N. Elm St.
Bank employees told officers that a black male with his face concealed by a white bandana entered the building at approximately 11:35 am today, displayed a handgun, and demanded money.
After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash from a teller, the man fled from the business.
No one was injured in the incident.
The man is described as 6’1″ and slim. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, dark blue jeans, and black boots.
Police are collecting evidence and circulating the area.
Anyone who may be able to help identify the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000 or text keyword badboyz and your tip to 274637. All calls to crime stoppers are completely anonymous. Greensboro/Guilford Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the individual responsible.
