Parks and Recreation Hosts iCan Bike and iCan Swim Programs

GREENSBORO, NC (May 16, 2018) – Greensboro Parks and Recreation’s Adaptive and Inclusive Recreation Unit will host two five-day programs for individuals with disabilities learn to ride a bike or swim. The iCan Swim program will be held June 10-14 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center and iCan Bike happens August 12-16 at the Greensboro Coliseum, 1921 W. Gate City Blvd.

All participants must have a disability and be able to attend all five days of camp. Riders for iCan Bike must be at least eight years old and be able to walk without an assistive device. The cost is $195 per participant. Swimmers must be at least three years old and have a guardian present during the sessions. The cost is $150.
