Lake Townsend Offers Waterfowl Birding Tours December Through March

GREENSBORO, NC (December 3, 2018) – Greensboro Parks and Recreation staff will host Lake Townsend pontoon boat rides to scout for migrating and wintering waterfowl December 16, January 13 and 27, February 10 and 24, and March 10 and 24. All tours depart at 3 pm from Lake Townsend Watershed Park, 6332 Lake Townsend Rd., Browns Summit. Space is limited. Call 336-373-3741 to reserve a seat. The fee is $7 per person.
