Disaster Resource Center Opening April 19

GREENSBORO, NC (April 18, 2018) – In partnership with Guilford County, the City of Greensboro is opening a “Disaster Resource Center” on Thursday, April 19 at the Willow Oaks Community Center, 1815 Everitt St., for residents affected by this weekend’s tornado. The center will be open from 9 am to 7 pm each day Thursday through Saturday, April 21, with an option to extend days if necessary.

Greensboro staff, American Red Cross and Guilford County Social Services will be on hand to perform an initial needs assessment with affected residents to help determine what services are needed moving forward.
