City Council Hosts September 11 Public Forum on Violent Crime

GREENSBORO, NC (September 9, 2019) – Greensboro City Council is hosting a public forum to address the recent trend in violent crime and allow residents to share ideas and solution about reducing crime at 6 pm, Wednesday, September 11 at the Windsor Recreation Center, 1601 E. Gate City Blvd.

“We recognize the impact violence has on the friends, family and neighbors of those who’ve been victimized,” said City Manager David Parrish.

“As a community, we must be willing to work together to identify the root cause of this violence and develop real solutions to bring our city together, making it a safe place for all,” said Mayor Nancy Vaughan.
