“Safer City” Working Group Leaders Share Action Items

WHAT: This is a periodic update on the progress of the “Safer City” initiative. “Safer City” is a collaborative city-wide effort to address the underlying issues that contribute to violent crime. Working group leaders will share their groups’ 2-4 actionable items that could reduce violence in our city. These working groups are: housing, employment, youth, public safety, and legal. The session is a time to discuss items that may overlap among working groups, and/or support existing community initiatives.

WHEN: Thursday, March 23, 5:30-6:30 pm

WHERE: Public Safety Training Facility, room 208, 1510 N. Church St.
