Job Fairs for Tanger Center Event Staff to be held Jan. 16 & 18
(GREENSBORO, NC) – A pair of job fairs will be held at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex to recruit part-time event staff for the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts.
The job fairs will take place Thursday, January 16 (4 p.m. to 8 p.m.) and Saturday, January 18, (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) in the Meeting Rooms wing of the Coliseum Complex’s Special Events Center.
Approximately 200 part-time positions are available for a variety of roles including:
Bartenders and Catering Servers
Crowd Management Staff
Guest Services Representatives
In House Security Staff
Parking Lot Staff
In addition to the Tanger Center, affiliated support organizations Spectra Food Services, Show Pros Entertainment Services (crowd management) and local IATSE 574 (stagehands, riggers, loaders and technicians) will have representatives on hand at both job fairs to provide information on available positions and interview applicants.
Interested candidates should bring photo identification and resume and be prepared to complete application and background check authorization. Tanger Center events will begin in late March with employee training beginning March 1.
ABOUT TANGER CENTER
The Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts will host more than 150 events per year and will be managed by the staff of the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. The Tanger Center will host a diverse variety of events including touring Broadway productions, concerts, Guilford College’s Bryan Series, Greensboro Symphony Orchestra performances, comedy shows and all types of family entertainment. The venue is scheduled to open in March, 2020.
