Crime Stoppers Alert: 2009 Octavius Wilson (cold case)

Detectives with the Greensboro Police Department need the public’s assistance with solving the 2009 homicide of Octavius Orlando Wilson. On January 22, 2009 at approximately 12:45 a.m. Mr. Wilson was found shot lying in the roadway at 2416 Phillips Avenue. He was 37 years old.

In addition to the Crime Stoppers Reward, former NC Governor Bev Perdue issued a proclamation in May 2010 announcing the State is offering a reward of UP TO $5,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible.
(The reward offered by the state is separate and different than the crime stoppers reward)

Thank you.
