GREENSBORO, N.C. — No matter what team you root for on Sundays, you likely enjoy watching Cam Newton give a game ball to a child sitting behind the end zone after a Panther’s touchdown.
Three kids got a game ball at Sunday’s game including nine-year-old Nicholas Oldis of Greensboro.
He was in the right spot at the right time. It was over in an instant, but the memory will last much longer.
“Not many kids get a ball from Cam Newton,” said Leigh Ann Oldis, Nicholas’ mother.
The Greensboro boy was taking in his first experience at Bank of America Stadium Sunday when the unthinkable happened.
GREENSBORO — Despite receiving about a half dozen tips regarding the disappearance of Tyarra Williams, Greensboro police officers say “no significant advancements” have been made in the case.
The 19-year-old was last seen January 7 at the Stoneybrook apartment complex in Greensboro where her family lives.
