GREENSBORO, NC – There are only 191 days until the general election in November. That’s just a little over 6 months.

But the races are already heating up this year in the Triad, especially.

Education, job creation, military, and House Bill 2 were all topics of discussion among candidates running for office in North Carolina.

The candidates had a lot to talk about Saturday at a political forum in Greensboro hosted by the North Carolina National Guard Association.

Attorney General Roy Cooper is challenging the incumbent candidate, Governor Pat McCrory for the top spot in the state.
