Random Acts of Kindness in Guilford County Schools
GCS uses Random Acts of Kindness Week to Focus on Intentional Acts promoting attendance
Greensboro, N.C. – As the nation celebrates Random Acts of Kindness Week, Feb. 12-18, Guilford County Schools will take it a step further to promote intentional acts of kindness to promote good attendance.
“As a National District of Character we work to promote cultures of individuals who display caring actions for every student, at every school every day,” says Charlos Banks, executive director of student services and character development.
Throughout the district, schools will hold events all week promoting good attendance, literacy, career and college readiness, and positive culture and climate. Activities will include providing free compliments, “Your Presence is Requested” motivational cards, guest readers, and more.
About Guilford County Schools
