Home-School Partnerships Summit

-MEDIA ALERT-

WHAT: As school leaders are closing out the school year and planning for a successful 2017-18 year, Guilford Parent Academy is hosting a Home-School Partnerships Summit. When families and educators join together, they build strong home-school partnerships, and those partnerships contribute to student success. At the summit, principals, teachers, parent leaders and community members will receive a “toolkit” that they can take back to their schools to implement partnerships that will truly help students succeed in the classroom and beyond.

Nationally renowned speaker Principal Baruti Kafele will be the keynote speaker, and many of the breakout sessions will be facilitated by principals who will share best practices and what’s working at their schools to engage families and increase student success.

WHEN: Tuesday, June 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

WHERE: Laughlin Professional Development Center, 7911 Summerfield Road, Summerfield, NC 27358
