Pedestrian Dies from Injuries Sustained in Crash

GREENSBORO, NC (Dec. 6, 2017) -A 62-yerar-old Greensboro woman died from the injuries she sustained after being struck by a car yesterday evening.
Rita Talavera Morrow, of 2103 Spencer St., was crossing the roadway near the intersection of S. English St. and Avalon Rd. at approximately 6:18 pm yesterday when she was
Struck by a 2009 Hyundai that was travelling northbound on English St. She was transported to Moses Cone Hospital and later died from her injuries.
The driver is not facing charges at this point.
The collision is currently being investigated by the Greensboro Police Department’s Crash Reconstruction Unit. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call Officer Goad at 336-373-4320.
