Homicide Crime Scene Identified
GREENSBORO, NC (Sept. 19, 2017) – Greensboro detectives have identified the location of an early morning shooting that fatally wounded a 47-year-old Greensboro woman.
A witness to the shooting transported the victim, Jacqueline Rene Thompson, to Moses Cone Hospital at approximately 1:05 am today. Thompson, of 4210 Bernau St., died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
Interviews and forensics indicate that Thompson was shot while she was inside 625 E. Gate City Blvd. Detectives have not yet identified a suspect, but have learned that the shooting was not random.

Greensboro/Guilford Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the individual responsible.
