2017 MUSEP Concert Series Begins June 4
GREENSBORO, NC (May 17, 2017) – The Music for a Sunday Evening in the Park (MUSEP) Concert Series begins its 38th season by featuring the Wally West Little Big Band at 6 pm, June 4 at Blandwood Mansion, 447 W. Washington St. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated.
MUSEP concerts featuring local artists will be held every Sunday from June to the end of August at parks throughout the city. This year MUSEP welcomes back familiar faces and new performers to the line-up. Bring a picnic, family, friends, and your four-legged friend (on a leash). Sit back, relax, and enjoy a “Sunday evening in the park.” Please remember alcohol and charcoal grills are not permitted in City of Greensboro parks.

n July 16: Eastern Music Festival Young Artist Wind Ensemble (classical, pops)

n July 23: Piedmont Triad Jazz Orchestra (jazz) will play two, 45-minute sets. This event is in conjunction with the Eastern Music Festival

n July 30: Sweet Dreams (Blues, R&B, jazz, soul) and Rob Massengale Band (variety, rock and roll).
6 pm, Gillespie Golf Course, 306 E. Florida St.
This event is in conjunction with Parks & Rec Fest from 4-6 pm.
n August 6: Zinc Kings (Piedmont old time music) and Wonderwall (Beatles cover band)
