Greensboro Fire Participating in “Incident Management Team Exercise”

GREENSBORO, NC (February 15, 2017) – The Greensboro Fire Department is participating in an Incident Management Team training exercise with departments from acrsos the state of North Carolina on February 20-22 at Haw River State Park in Brown Summit.

The course consists of simulations, exercises and instruction for local incident management team members. The simulations are designed to test the students in their functional knowledge as well as their ability to function as a team.

Public Information Officers from across the state will be participating in the exercise and are asking local media outlets to participate with simulated media briefings and press conferences. All interested media partners should contact Captain Joel Wood of the Greensboro Fire Department at 336-430-6013.
