‘Bodies Revealed’ Exhibit Is Fascinating And Real

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Greensboro Science Center will open its ‘Bodies Revealed’ exhibit this Saturday.

The exhibit gives you an inside look at carefully preserved and REAL organs from the human body. The Science Center says there are nine full body human specimens and 200 organs respectfully displayed to offer a new and unique view of our anatomy.

You can check out the Bodies Revealed Exhibit from October 10 of this year to June 5, 2016.

Police Body Cameras Have Hidden Cost

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Greensboro police got body cameras through a $130,000 grant.  But buying the cameras is just part of the cost. 2 Wants To Know looked at video storage costs.

It used to be all police case files were kept in paper in boxes. Under state law, police departments have to hold on to them for so many years – depending on what the records are. Those boxes don’t cost much to keep in the department warehouse. But electronic recordings of body camera footage — well that’s another story. On average, GPD pays $1289 per camera per year to keep the computer records on a memory card.

Mayhem Indoor Marching Band Competition This Saturday

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Eight marching bands with eight different half time shows will all be in one place this Saturday, October 10, 2015.

You’ll see some of Carolina’s best high school “showstyle” bands in competition at the Greensboro Coliseum from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The competition features the following bands:

2.    Andrews High School, High Point, NC

3.    Pine Forest High School,  Fayetteville, NC

4.    EE. Smith High School, Fayetteville, NC
